Although the Spirit of Golf Foundation ® has developed internal funding programs that assist in underwriting the operations of the foundation, the Board of Directors determined that a “Sustaining Partner Program” should be in place to help assure the functionality of the organization. We learned of the Sustaining Partner Program through our relationships with other non-profit foundations. It is the hope of the Board that SGF can garner the support of 500 individuals or corporations who will pledge $500 or more on an annual basis. These contributors will make up the membership of our Sustaining Partner Program. Even when the organization’s membership dues, certification fees and other revenue generating elements cover the organization’s expenses, those funds generated through the Sustaining Partner Program will be used for scholarship/grant opportunities for our members.

As a fellow golfer and lover of the many intrinsic values found only in the game of golf, I invite you to become a Sustaining Partner Member of the Spirit of Golf Foundation ® (SGF). Your contribution and support will enable scholastic coaches, physical education teachers and youth counselors to better serve the needs of their schools and communities. The professional education, certification and personal growth opportunities offered to SGF’s members will provide the boys and girls in their programs with a proper introduction to the game and exposure to those many values found in golf.
